love them! are those the crazy small # cast-on socks? I really got to try a pair of these.

Absolutely crazy! This time only 28 stitches instead of the 32 around for the first pair I did in this yarn. And of course, I do a toe-up sock, so I started with 6 or 8 stitches, think. ;-)

28 stitches? OMG, you could totally crank out a gazillion pairs of these for holiday and bday gifts. Is it your own pattern, or do you have a link? I'm going to dig through my stash this weekend and see what yarns I can stashbust and use for a pair of these! :D

No, no pattern as such, just a basic toe up sock with a short row heel; that's my fall back. I started with an "easy toe", provisional cast on, etc, with 6 or 8 stitches, increasing to 28 in the round, and off you go.

Definitely quick to churn them out. :-)
